I build software companies. For over a decade, I've been co-leading buildo, a Milan-based team of 30+ engineers and designers crafting custom software products across industries.
About
I co-founded buildo in 2013 with a group of friends from Politecnico di Milano. What started as a small team passionate about building great software has grown into a company of 30+ people, trusted by clients across healthcare, diagnostics, fintech, energy, and more.
My background is in computer engineering, with studies at Politecnico di Milano and the University of Illinois at Chicago. Before buildo, I worked at Google, which gave me an early perspective on how large-scale tech companies operate and think about products.
At buildo, I focus on the intersection of technology and business: understanding what clients actually need, translating complex requirements into elegant solutions, and making sure our engineering culture stays strong as we grow. I care deeply about code quality, design systems, and building software that lasts.
Outside of work, I'm into hiking, DIY projects, and tinkering with self-hosted tech setups. I believe the best software comes from teams that are curious, rigorous, and genuinely enjoy what they do.

buildo is a software company based in Milan. We design and build custom software products for clients ranging from established enterprises to fast-growing startups, with particular experience in healthcare diagnostics, fintech, and energy.
Our team of 30+ engineers and designers specializes in TypeScript, React, UX design, DevOps, and AI. We're increasingly focused on integrating artificial intelligence into the products we build, and on developing AI-powered tools and workflows. We also created Bento Design System, an open-source React component library.

Other Projects
Baita Pigolza
A mountain hut in the Alps above Valtellina, run as a communal project among friends. We restore and maintain the baita, host international volunteers, and use it as a base for hiking and disconnecting from the digital world.
Trovamascherine
During COVID-19, I co-founded a non-profit platform to help Italian citizens find masks and PPE at local pharmacies. Built rapidly with the buildo team, it received significant press coverage and served thousands of users when supplies were scarce.
